![]() With that said Both Perfect World and 2moons really did an excellent job on bringing players something fun as well as creative to the table. The only other real Asian title to be fairly successful in NA is Lineage2. ![]() It does have some really interesting bits like the major pvp pull which again is something that is just now flushing itself over to the NA /Eu markets. Out of the 3 Metin2 is the only title that holds true tot he Asian nature of grindfest with very little dialog and quests, with the major focus on going out and killing so many of this mob and that mob. Perfect World which is very well put together, 2moons with gritty dialog and some interesting game mechinics like fishing, guild seiges, and Metin2 which you can actually call a typical Asian mmo. I'm wondering where all these other asian games are that "come out ever week." I personally follow the Asain trends to find something f2p and this year is one of the first I can remember 3 titles coming out so close together. Not all of us can be treehugging happy all the time, getting excited about every crappy game that comes out every week from asia. If you see an upside in this hellhole called the mmorpg market, please tell me why you aren't playing it i just don't like you're attitude of stereotyping everything and everybody. ![]() I don't have a problem with games, be it oriental or western. why not lambast your own devs for packaging asian games into your market. and you say NA market is racking more bucks than the asian counterpart? huh!Īnd it's not even our fault why korean, chinese and japanese mmos kept on surfacing in your world. in asia, players don complain about those items, they just buy them and never nag. Look at the forums of heroonline and any other mmo with the cash shop system, everydbody's ranting about the items on the cash shop. However their games keep failing in the west, so they should either stop porting them over here or make more considerable changes o their games in order for us to like them. In addition I dont care if they make the games or not. The idea that asian mmorpgs make more money than woW or its predecessors is a myth, which keeps getting spread by kids who don't know wtf is going on.Īlso I actually like Archlord but I dont consider it p2p material. These companies flaunt a guy who might pay a dollar a month as a subscriber but they are obviously not making as much as a mmorpg with one subscription plan in the west. You see asian mmorpgs have these alternat payment options, like by the hour and stuff. You are wrong, asian market has alot of players but its the western market making the most money.
